No, we haven’t gone mad! And we aren’t turning our newsletter into a tabloid magazine. It’s actually time to announce all of the new rose selections available for the 2009 season. We just wanted to make sure we had your attention! We have 14 great varieties of bush and miniature roses to tell you about this year.  

	California Dreamin’ (Hybrid Tea) – Gorgeous white blooms with a deep pink edge and a wonderful fragrance. Beautiful foliage, a nice compact habit and great disease resistance make this one of the best new roses to come out in ages. 30-35 petals
	Chocolate Sundae (Climber) – This is a unique new climber with chocolate red-brown flowers that re-create that latest florist color rave in the garden. It performs best in California and the west coast. 30 petals
	Enchanted Evening (Floribunda) – Among the best lavender floribundas ever! Each full, ruffled bloom sparkles with a twilight hued color play and contains a hypnotic citrus scent. Excellent disease resistance and a compact, rounded habit. 20-25 petals
	Kimberlina (Floribunda) – One of the healthiest, toughest, most vigorous floribundas ever introduced with light pink blooms set against glossy dark green foliage on an upright, well branched plant. Ideal for any mixed landscape. 20 petals
	Lady Bird (Hybrid Tea) – A large-flowered coral orange hybrid tea with a striking, warm bloom color, long stems, long stems and a tantalizing fragrance Lady Bird makes a fabulous cutting rose. 35-40 petals
	Legends (Hybrid Tea) – Large, shapely buds unfurl into massive ruby red blossoms. Oprah Winfrey was involved in the multi-year evaluation and final selection of this rose. These vase-filling celebrities make great, long lasting cut flowers. 30 petals
	Light My Fire (Floribunda) – This flaming hot orange floribunda is sure to set your garden ablaze with traffic-stopping color! The large clusters of red-orange blooms are offset by dark green, glistening foliage and a compact rounded habit. 20 petals
	Paradise Found (Hybrid Tea) – A beautiful pink rose with dark pink to ruby edges and a wonderful, pleasing fragrance. The perfect flower form, color and long lasting vase qualities of this rose make it hard to beat. 25-30 petals

	Spanish Sunset (Floribunda) – This new rose provides a non-stop display of bright orange flowers with yellow centers throughout the season on a very uniform, rounded plant with nice green foliage and excellent disease resistance. 10-12 petals
	Summer Love (Hybrid Tea) – Summer Love will glow in garden as the sun shines across the sky.  The large yellow blooms have an occasional hint of pink. The long-lasting blooms stand out from the beautiful green foliage. 25-30 petals
	Sweetness (Grandiflora) – Soft, lavender blooms will fill your garden with clusters of high-centered hybrid tea blooms all season. The flowers pack an intoxicating sweet lemon fragrance powerful enough to perfume an entire garden! 30 petals
	Warm & Fuzzy (Miniature) – The deep Christmas red color and sweet juniper scent of this rose will heat up gardens this season.  These blooms retain their color until the very end and even prefer some heat to show their best color. 10-15 petals
