We are pleased to announce that residential customers of San Diego County Water Authority and its member agencies are again eligible to reserve rebates for water-efficient products. Customers may obtain reservations via the program website www.bewaterwise.com or the program hotline at 888-376-3314 during business hours (M-F 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.).
Reservations for the rebates listed below are available. Since local water agencies have the option of increasing the incentive amount, some customers may be eligible for larger rebates.
- High-Efficiency Toilets: $100
- High-Efficiency Clothes Washers: $135
- Weather-Based Irrigation Controllers:
- Under one acre irrigated landscape: $230
- Over one acre irrigated landscape: $25 per station
- Rotating Sprinkler Nozzles: $4
Program Information
Effective April 1, 2009, rebate reservations are required before, or on the same day of, purchase.
- Customers may reserve their rebate online at www.bewaterwise.com or by calling 888-376-3314.
- Products must be selected from the list of approved models.
- Customers are required to mail their original sales receipt, signed reservation confirmation and a copy of their water bill to the processing center.
- Devices for which a rebate is issued are subject to on-site installation verification.
- Owners of single-family detached homes, duplexes, triplexes and fourplexes are eligible if they have not previously received an incentive.
- Tenants are eligible with written consent of the property owner.
- Rebate funds are limited and distributed on a first-come, first-served basis
