ALTA VISTA GARDENS

The Alta Vista Gardens is a Public Benefit Corporation devoted to developing a community botanical garden bringing together people, nature and art. While still very much at its developmental stage, the Garden welcomes you to participate in its evolution. Click here for more details.

PLAY IN THE GARDEN
Play days in the Garden are held on the third Saturday of the month from 8:00 am to Noon. Don Nelson, the volunteer coordinator, is also available at the Garden House on the first and third Monday of the month from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
The Alta Vista Gardens is located in the heart of the City of Vista’s Brengle Terrace Park, 1270 Vale Terrace Dr. Vista, CA.

QUAIL BOTANICAL GARDENS

Located 20 minutes north of San Diego in Encinitas, California, Quail Botanical Gardens features over 35 acres of exhibits, including rare bamboo groves, desert gardens, a tropical rainforest, California native plants, Mediterranean climate landscapes, the Undersea Succulent Garden, Landscaping for Fire Safety and a subtropical fruit garden. In April of 2003, Quail introduced the West Coast's first interactive children's garden, the Seeds of Wonder.
