Dear Friends,

On the weekend of November 10th, 11th, and 12th, I am going to accomplish something I thought I would never even try. I am going to participate in the 3 day walk for breast cancer. I will walk 20 miles a day for the Susan B. Komen Foundation.

I am very lucky that no one in my family or I have had to battle breast cancer. However, as a woman I see the importance of the foundation and all the research they have done in order to find a cure for this deadly disease.

Little by little I am building up my miles. This is a great challenge to face but nothing compared to facing cancer straight on. The faces of those women and family members they left behind are my inspiration. This is a journey that I am prepared to complete. Just training has given me such inner-strength that I am so excited to think of the rush I’ll feel on November 12th!

In order for us to conquer this deadly disease we need your support. Everyone participating in this walk needs to raise $2200. Please help find a cure and stop this disease!
